With over 20 years of combined telecommunications infrastructure design and construction experience and 10 of those years at NorAm Telecommunications in the construction contracting industry, Erik brings extensive experience and practical application knowledge to both the construction and consulting arenas.  In his professional career, Erik has managed both engineering and construction projects ranging from multi-year sole-source provider contracts to multi-million dollar long haul fiber optic networks in both the public and private sectors.  Although his professional career has afforded many roles applicable to the industry, focus and key area of responsibilities have been in the construction, design and project management of outside plant (OSP) infrastructure including aerial; underground;  copper distribution systems; FTTx deployment; and Long Haul / Metro Area Fiber Optic Networks.

For over 6 years, Erik held positions in Project Management and Design with WH Pacific and Sparling and was directly responsible for all aspects of planning, feasibility, fielding, design, estimating, budgeting, construction cost estimating, customer relations, scheduling and staff supervision.  In August of 2006, Erik started Commstructure Consulting LLC in order to continue to provide quality technical consulting services to the loyal and diverse client relationships developed over time.  As President of Commstructure, Erik is directly responsible for all aspects of managing the firm including client relations; scheduling; staff supervision; planning; feasibility; fielding; design; estimating; budgeting; construction cost estimating; quality assurance and  quality control.
